Cassie and her rescue sister Sadie	Sunny Acres Cassie "Cassie" (CH Tempations Rock 'n Breezeway DNA-CP x Sunny Acres Tiger Lili DNA-VP CGC) April 26, 2002 Cassie is the beloved companion of the Clairmont family in Williston, Vermont After seven years of begging, I finally gave in and decided to let my daughter get a puppy.  After a lot of research, we decided to get an Aussie.  When I found Kate on the Internet, I told her that I had a certain color in mind.  Being that I was a first time dog owner, she told me that she had a very sweet puppy that was red.  I decided to take a look at her and fell in love.  She reminded me of a little piglet.  Cassie has turned into a beautiful dog.  She has a wonderful temperament.  She is extremely loyal to my family.  We call her our little velcro dog.  She loves to play frisbee and ball.  With a lot of love, patience and on-going training, Cassie is becoming the dog I've always dreamed of having.  Kate has been extremely helpful and patient with all of my questions and concerns.  With her help, Cassie has become a wonderful addition to my family.

Pehoski's Jack "Jack" (Smithfield's Jim Dandy DNA-CP x Sunny Acres Penny DNA-CP) June 29, 1999 Jack is a valued member of the Pehoski family in Essex Junction, Vermont He is like our soul mate; remember Dawn had picked out the name "Jack" before we had even saw the puppies. And when we picked the puppy we wanted, you had named him Jack already! Spooky Jack is brilliant. He stays in the yard, knows about fifty commands (I ran out of time and energy to teach him more), and is so loving. He sheds like crazy and we have learned how to shave him up a bit twice a year (the choppiness is temporary) We are on our third vacuum cleaner. He is a chow hound and loves the treats. We feed him well; only healthy stuff though~carrots, bananas, grapes, frozen pears, toasted baguettes and lots of natural dog biscuits. The poor thing is probably starving for a greasy ham steak. He recently ate a Hartz smokey bone in an unsupervised 10 minutes and had to have surgery to remove all of the bone fragments. Aren't those bones only for chewing?! A lapse of his judgment. We cried like babies for the surgery! Jack loves his little sister Ginger, a Sheltie whose a year old. Jack is definitely the big brother. Jack weighs about 65 lbs., is neutered and is considered a blue merle with tan points. Jack is the smartest, most loving and emotionally demanding dog we have ever owned. He has given us so much joy I can not even put it in words! Thank you, Ron

      Charlie Lives with his aunt Heidi and the Strecker/Leighton family in Norwich, Vermont.  Sadly Charlie lost his battle with lymphoma in August of 2007 just a little over 4 months after being diagnosed.

I received your note about the change of email address so I wanted to fill you in on how Sophie is doing (Miss Piggy).  She turns 6 this summer and has turned out to be a WONDERFUL dog!  She is so loyal and good with our kids.  She has a great quirky personality.  She buries treats in our house plants to save for a snack for later (in keeping with your Miss Piggy name).  She is incredibly smart and smiles for us and gives us kisses when we ask her!  : )
